Telegram adds reactions and spoiler text in last big update of the year

Telegram users have one last update to stay tuned this year. The new patch carries several additional features to the privacy-centric messaging application, including the option to add a spoiler effect to your message (via telegram). With many who get ready to ring in the new year, it looks like the telegram wants to start 2022 by giving users a lot of extra functionality.

First, one of the features to be taken by the first person is the option to add reactions to messages in a way similar to Apple iMessage. After you install updates, you will be able to tap twice to send a thumb up, or if you want to send another type of reaction, you can tap or hold the message to bring up more options, including some animated emoji reactions.

This update also adds a lot of searchable features called hidden text, also known as spoiler formatting. It will be very helpful for group chat that discusses movies and content filled with other spoilers, because you can hide text, making it look only when the user knocks it.

Telegram users can choose spoiler formatting by typing their messages and then highlight them and change the formatting to the spoiler option. Even though it still requires users to choose the format, having text spoilers can help users more effectively share opinions and facts without having to worry about pampering something for everyone.

Telegram adds message translations and QR codes, too

While the reaction and spoiler text are a large addition, the latest telegram updates even more offer. The latest patch for instant messaging applications also introduces the message translation system, gives you a special translation button in the message context menu. You can choose any message and then choose the Translate option to easily see what is said in other languages, and the telegram will also allow you to exclude the language that you have spoken smoothly because you don’t need to translate it.

Another big piece of update is the addition of the themed QR code. The QR code has become increasingly popular in the application as a way to enter or share user details easier. Snapchat is very famous for the system like a QR code, and it looks like the telegram feature will work together. Users can produce themed QR codes from their profiles, as well as QR codes for groups, bots, or different channels. It must make it easier for users to share users, group chat, and other channels in the future.
